Treski Fest is more than a music festival

What makes Treski Fest special is its combination of different experiences. You can spend the evening in front of the concert stage and start the next morning in a sauna, doing breathing practices, working out or immersing yourself in cold water.

The festival’s additional programme focuses on activities that help visitors relax, be active and try something out of the ordinary. The programme includes ice baths, morning breathing exercises, saunas and SETOLAND, where visitors can learn more about the culture and traditions of Setomaa.

The festival takes place far from major cities, amid the natural surroundings of Setomaa. At the heart of the event is Treski vabaõhulava, known for its distinctive architecture and now one of the region’s best-known concert venues.

Who will perform at Treski Fest 2026?

The music programme is spread over three days. Well-known Estonian artists, emerging performers and international guests will take the stage.

Friday, 7 August

On the first day of the festival, the following artists will perform:

  • Daniel Levi;
  • A-rühm;
  • Inga;
  • DJ Heidy Purga;
  • DJ Breleri;
  • Planeet;
  • Andreas.

In addition to the concerts, SETOLAND, a book tent and a lawn games area will open on Friday.

Saturday, 8 August

Saturday will be the day with the festival's busiest programme. The following will take the stage:

  • nublu;
  • Arg Part;
  • Curly Strings;
  • Eva-Lotta Vunder and Madis Meister;
  • Koer;
  • Haldi & ans Flamingo;
  • maria kallastu;
  • KRŸS;
  • Gram-Of-Fun;
  • South of Savoy;
  • Tõnu Tubli;
  • Koikson_Tärn_Mölder;
  • Henessi Schmidt;
  • Sten-Olle;
  • Resting Sun;
  • heleenyum.

At the same time, there will be a diverse well-being and activity programme:

  • morning saunas;
  • breathing practices;
  • ice baths guided by Madis Meister;
  • Hüdsi morning workout;
  • orienteering and movement games;
  • children's morning and disco;
  • book tent;
  • SETOLAND programme.

Saturday in particular best demonstrates the complete concept of Treski Fest. It is not merely a series of concerts, but an all-day experience that can begin with breathing exercises or a sauna and end with late-night music.

Sunday, 9 August

Performing on the final day of the festival:

  • Georgian ensemble Iberi;
  • Chilean musician Nano Stern;
  • Kukerpillid;
  • Kristjan Glück.

Sunday's programme also includes a charity pancake breakfast, the Treski tournament with active games, morning saunas, breathing practices, ice baths and a Hüdsi workout.

The organizers may change the schedule and performance times. Therefore, before traveling to the festival, it is worth checking the latest version of the program on the official Treski Fest website or in the Sviby app.

Saunas, breathing practices and ice baths

Treski Fest's wellness programme takes place mainly in the mornings. Visitors can take part in saunas, guided breathing practices and ice baths led by Madis Meister.

An ice bath involves briefly immersing yourself in cold water under controlled conditions. Although cold-water practices have become popular at wellness events, they are not suitable for everyone.

People with heart conditions, blood pressure problems or other health concerns should consult a doctor before participating. Even healthy people should not treat an ice bath as a competition. Follow the instructor’s directions and get out of the water immediately if you experience severe dizziness, difficulty breathing or pain.

What is SETOLAND?

SETOLAND is a separate area of the festival where visitors can learn about the culture, traditions and local way of life of Setomaa.

Setomaa is a historical and cultural region in southeastern Estonia, known for its language, customs, food culture and polyphonic Seto leelo singing tradition.

Therefore, Setomaa is not merely a beautiful backdrop for Treski Fest. Local culture is an integral part of the festival's core concept and gives the event a character that sets it apart from other summer festivals.

For those coming from farther away, the festival can be a good reason to combine attending a concert with a trip to Värska and elsewhere in Setomaa.

Is Treski Fest suitable for families with children?

The festival programme includes several activities specifically for children, including a children's morning, a disco and various active games. Children up to the age of 12 can attend the festival free of charge.

However, it is worth bearing in mind that this is a major music event. For younger children, it is advisable to bring hearing protection, waterproof clothing and something warm for the evening.

Bringing your own food and drinks into the festival area is generally not permitted. An exception is made for food for small children, but bringing it in should be agreed with the staff at the entrance.

You may bring an empty plastic or metal bottle, as there is a drinking water station on the festival grounds.

Treski Fest 2026 tickets

Three-day festival passes, one-day tickets and family tickets are available. The final ticket price depends on the selected day and ticket type.

Tickets may also be available for purchase on site if the relevant ticket category has not sold out by then. As the number of both festival passes and day tickets is limited, the organisers recommend buying tickets in advance.

Upon presenting their ticket, visitors will receive a wristband. The wristband allows them to leave the festival grounds and return later for the entire period of the ticket’s validity.

Where to stay during the festival?

Treski Fest offers various accommodation options, but availability is limited.

You can reserve a pitch for your own tent at the festival. Each tent pitch measures approximately 5 × 5 metres and accommodates up to five people for two nights.

The camping area has:

  • toilets;
  • drinking water;
  • separate electricity use area;
  • paid shower.

Festival accommodation options, such as glamping and motorhome pitches, may sell out quickly. It is therefore worth checking their availability on the official website before travelling.

You may also stay overnight free of charge in your own car or in a rooftop tent. A regular tent or additional furniture may not be placed next to the car.

It is worth looking for alternative accommodation in Värska and other nearby areas of Setomaa.

How to get to Treski Fest?

Treski is located in southeastern Estonia, and those travelling from farther away should plan their journey in advance.

By car

For most visitors, travelling by car is the most convenient option. Parking is provided near the festival grounds, and the entrance can be reached on foot from the car park.

The organizers recommend carpooling or using a ride-sharing service whenever possible.

By bus

The nearest suitable bus stop is in Värska. Transportation from Värska to Treski village must be arranged separately.

By train

The nearest railway stations are:

Orava railway station – approximately 8 kilometres from Treski;
Ilumetsa railway station – approximately 15 kilometres from Treski.

Transportation from the railway station to the festival grounds must be arranged in advance.

What should you bring to the festival?

The weather in August can change quickly, and much of the programme takes place outdoors.

It is worth bringing:

  • comfortable, weatherproof footwear;
  • rain poncho or waterproof jacket;
  • warmer clothes for the evening;
  • sunscreen;
  • reusable water bottle;
  • hearing protection for children.

For the sauna and ice baths, you will need swimwear, a towel, a change of clothes and footwear that is easy to put on after getting out of the water.

Pets are not allowed in the festival area. Glass containers, your own alcohol and professional photography or video equipment without prior accreditation are also prohibited.

Why should you go to Treski Fest?

Treski Fest is suitable for people who want more than an ordinary open-air concert. The festival combines music, the nature of Setomaa, physical activity, saunas, cold-water practices and local culture.

Some visitors may come for nublu, Curly Strings, Daniel Levi or Kukerpillid. Others are drawn to Setomaa by a peaceful morning, a pancake breakfast, ice baths, saunas or the opportunity to explore southeastern Estonia.

It is precisely the combination of music, wellness and local culture that sets Treski Fest apart from many other Estonian summer festivals.
